Services

Remodeling, additions, and repairs.

We work on homes and commercial spaces in Springfield, Eugene, and Lane County. Whether you're planning a remodel or need something repaired, tell us about the job.

Between the two owners we bring more than 40 years of combined construction experience, and we can take on anything within the legal scope of an Oregon general contractor.

Kitchen & bath remodels

Update the cabinets, counters, tile, and fixtures, or rethink the whole layout. We'll talk about what isn't working in the room and what you'd like to change.

Home additions

Need more room? An extra bedroom, a larger living area, or a garage can give you space without moving. We can talk through how an addition would work with your existing home.

Roofing

Roof repairs and replacement, including damaged sheathing and flashing. Tell us about the leak, damage, or wear you're seeing so we can take a look and discuss the work needed.

Decks, patios & outdoor living

New decks, repairs to existing ones, patios, and covered outdoor areas. We can help you plan the space, choose materials, and work through details like stairs and railings.

Whole-home renovations

Flooring, drywall, trim, doors, paint, and updates across several rooms. For a larger renovation, we'll talk through the order of work and how it will affect your day-to-day use of the house.

Structural repairs & framing

Repairs to damaged framing, work on sagging floors, and framing changes for a remodel. We'll assess what we can see and discuss whether further investigation or specialist input is needed.

Commercial & tenant improvements

Build-outs and updates for offices, shops, and rental properties, including partitions, doors, and finishes. Let us know how the space is used and any timing or access needs we should plan around.

Getting started

What to expect.

1

Take a look together

Show us the space and tell us what you want to do. We'll ask questions, look at the existing conditions, and talk about your priorities and budget.

2

Review the estimate

We'll put the proposed work and price in writing, including what's included and any choices that still need to be made. Ask about anything you'd like explained before deciding.

3

Get the work underway

Before starting, we'll go over the schedule and access to the work area. As the job moves along, we'll discuss any questions, changes, or unexpected issues with you.

4

Walk through the finished work

We'll look over the completed work with you, discuss anything that still needs attention, and go over any care instructions and project paperwork.

Common questions

A few things you might be wondering.

Do estimates cost anything?

We offer free estimates. Contact us with a little information about the project, and we'll arrange a time to take a look.

Can the price change once the work has started?

It can if the scope changes or we uncover an issue that wasn't visible when the estimate was prepared. We'll explain what changed, discuss the options, and document the agreed changes and cost. If something affects safety or what needs to happen before work can continue, we'll discuss that too.

Are you licensed and insured?

CB Construction Group's Oregon CCB number is 262156. Contact us if you'd like our current licensing and insurance information.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

We'll discuss any permits and inspections the project needs and make it clear who's handling them as part of the scope of work.

How long will it take?

That depends on the work, material availability, permits, and sometimes the weather. Once we've looked at the job, we can discuss a realistic timeframe and anything that could affect it.

How do payments work?

We'll go over the payment terms for your project before work starts and include them in the agreement, so you know what's due and when.

Can we stay in the house while you work?

It depends on which areas are being worked on and what access you'll have to things like the kitchen and bathroom. We'll talk about the disruption and whether staying in the house is practical for your project.
